Rana Daggubati playing cameo in Hindi film ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

According to film buzz,Rana role is not a pivot role in this film .Moreover, Playing this kind of role Rana degraded himself.

Rana as Vikram is seen in the film for just 2 minutes as a friend to Deepika Padukone meets her in a friend wedding party.

Meanwhile Ranbir Kapoor (boy friend to heroine) comes to chat with Deepika Padukone , Seeing Ranbir , Rana asks him to leave the place for some time . But Ranbir, a cool headed character in the film reacts very awkwardly and in a harsh voice Ranbir warns Rana to getaway between them. Rana leaves the place.

Although , the reaction of character in the film might be natural but the way Ranbir shouts at south Indian hero looks very odd and Rana doesn’t need such roles to degrade his stature.

Katrina Kaif has teamed up with Yash Chopra for "Jab Tak Hain Jaan" and says that the veteran filmmaker should drop the idea of retirement as he still has the zeal to make amazing cinema.
"I don't think he should retire. He has an amazing sense of emotion and passion for cinema. I think it will be sad. He is a legend and I don't think anyone can match him up," she said at the launch of song "Saans" from the film here Tuesday.
On his 80th birthday, Chopra had announced that "Jab Tak Hain Jaan" will be his last film as director.
Talking about her experience with Chopra, Katrina said she was shooting a difficult scene and everyone was trying to explain how to do it, but the filmmaker started cracking jokes to lighten the mood.
"He knew I was nervous and he started joking. That was an amazing moment. He is so perceptive at times," said the actress who will be seen romancing Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in the film that also has Anushka Sharma.
The film, releasing Nov 13, has fulfilled Katrina's dream to work with King Khan.
"I have always wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan. We would meet at award functions and talk about it, but I never thought that we will do a film together. It was definitely my dream to work with him and I am very happy that we did," she said.
"Initially, it was intimidating. I had to find a way to connect with him as an actor. Once that awkwardness was gone, I realised he cares as much for his co-star's scenes as his own. He performs with the same intensity."
Talking about some of the tips SRK doled out, she said he told her to have her chin down and look up, to stand straight and to look into his eyes whenever while shooting.

There is significant interest surrounding the forthcoming release Ishkq in Paris. This is because it is considered by many to be Preity Zinta’s major comeback after a long absence from the screen. Well there is now another reason for fans to get excited as superstar Salman Khan will be making a cameo appearance for a song in the film! The audience will soon be seeing him grooving ‘desi style’ to the song Kudiye di Kurtiwhich is composed by Sajid-Wajid. The composers have recently given us the highly addictive song ‘Mashallah’ from Ek Tha Tiger (2012).
According to reports, Salman instantly promised Preity (who is also the producer of the film) that he would make the appearance when she came to him with the concept over a year ago. There was some scepticism surrounding his ability to make it for the shooting of the song, as Salman was incredibly busy with the promotional tour for Ek Tha Tiger. However, being the professional actor that he is, Salman fully lived up to his promise and took a couple of days off from the tour in order to do the song for Preity.
In a statement to an Indian newspaper Preity expressed her joy over Salman’s appearance in Ishkq in Paris: “I love Salman for being a part of my first film as a producer. First experiences are always the most memorable and special and he has rocked the movie for me by looking so handsome and super-hot.”
Salman plays himself as a celebrity guest in a wedding scene where the leading protagonists are also present. Hopefully this will be another Salman song which will delight us Bollywood fans! Ishkq in Paris, starring Zinta and Rhehan Malliek will be releasing in cinemas on 5th October 2012.

Actress Ileana refused to work in "Wanted", the Hindi version of "Pokiri" and thus lost the opportunity to romance Salman Khan on the big screen. Now she hopes to get another chance to team up with the Bollywood star.
"Yes, I was approached for the remake of 'Pokiri' in Tamil and Hindi. I did 'Pokiri' in Telugu, which did a huge business. I didn't take the offer of 'Pokiri' in Hindi, which was titled 'Wanted', as I felt I was not prepared enough to enter Bollywood," said Ileana, who is now debuting in Bollywood with "Barfi!"
"It was not that I didn't want to do the film, it's just that I didn't want to do it half-heartedly. I missed an opportunity to work with Salman in 'Wanted'. But I am really happy that 'Wanted' did well. I would love to work with Salman Khan in the near future," she added.
In the 2006 hit Telugu film "Pokiri", she had teamed up with Mahesh Babu. Puri Jagannadh directed it and Prabhu Deva later remade it in Tamil and Hindi versions

Ten million female fetuses are estimated to have been aborted over the past two decades in India according to ActionAid. 35 million females are also ‘missing’ according to the 2001 National Indian Census. Female feticide is an urgent and prevalent issue, and this horror does not only apply to India. Oxford University research based on birth statistics revealed that 1500 females from England and Wales have gone ‘missing’ since 1990. Sons being valued higher than daughters seem to have become ‘the norm’ in Indian Society. Whilst some parents feel their daughters to be the ‘Laxmi’ (Goddess) of the house, others are repulsed by them. The expense of paying a dowry, the responsibility of family honour resting upon a daughter, as well as daughter’s being viewed as ‘parahi’ (belonging to her husband’s family) are some factors that encourage the murdering of an unborn female child.
This shocking issue of female feticide is addressed by Nila Madhab Panda in his forthcoming film Jal Pari: The Desert Mermaid. Tannishtha Chatterjee expressed both the importance of the film’s message and her own responsibility as an actress to deliver it to the Times of India: “Being a woman and an actress, it is very important for me to support a film like this.” Furthermore Chatterjee also expressed her views on society as holding double standards – particularly towards females. She stated to IANS, “On one hand, we enjoy watching item numbers, but on the other hand if a girl goes to a party in a short skirt, she gets molested.”
Society is in desperate need to acknowledge and change its shameful preconceptions and Jal Pariencourages society to do just that. Already having been screened at the 65th Cannes Film Festival, the film received a glowing response. The issue of female feticide is tackled in a light-hearted manner in the film, being shown as a child’s adventure. Shreya (Lehar Khan) is an urban Delhi girl who spends her vacation at her father’s village. Being a curious child and always up for an adventure she ends up discovering a shockingly horrific secret that’s hidden away in the village.
Chatterjee plays a supporting role, whilst child stars Lehar Khan and Krishang Trivedi lead as the protagonists. Child star Harsh Mayar of ‘I am Kalam’ also plays a prominent role. On her experience working with child artists, Chatterjee told Times of India: “I love working with children.” She described them as “natural…They are so genuine in their acting.” Jal Pari’s star cast also consists of Parvin Dabs, Rahul Singh, Suhasini Mulay and V.M Badola.
Issues as horrific as female feticide are perhaps easier to confront through a film that has the innocence and inquisitive nature of a child’s adventure. Perhaps having child protagonists emphasises not only the beauty and importance of childhood, but also the value of children- both male and female.
